Derma E Vitamin C Collection Review & Giveaway!
When it comes to anti-aging beauty products that are vegan, cruelty-free, and squeaky clean (non-toxic), derma e is one of my favs. I’ve been using their products for years, and they just seem to be getting better and better with time. Not only did they recently overhaul their packaging (which looks much sleeker and inviting), they’re killing it with their brand new Vitamin C line.
Vitamin C is an antioxidant powerhouse with skin-brightening and anti-aging properties. Derma e is über fancy because they formulate with two potent and stable forms of Vitamin C, C-Ester and Stay-C 50 that won’t evaporate or alter before absorbing into your skin. Sounds all science-y and mega legit, no? 😉
Why it’s important to maximize Vitamin C Absorption
- Vitamin C supports collagen health, which is responsible for skin resilience and firmness.
- It helps brighten skin, and is especially great for age and dark spots, uneven skin tone, discoloration and sun damage.
- Vitamin C has been shown to protect against UV-induced damage and improve the appearance of photo-damaged skin.
So yeah, if you’re concerned about fighting wrinkles, age spots, hyperpigmentation, etc. (YES!!!), this line would be for you. I’ve been using these products for a few weeks now, and I love the way they feel on my skin. They’re non-irritating, easy to apply, and they have a lovely light citrus-y scent. I’ve been using SO many brightening cleansers, serums and oils this past year, and collectively, they have all improved the appearance of my skin. It’s always a bit hard to pinpoint exactly which product or produsts are working the hardest, but given derma e’s potent varieties of vitamin c, I’m almost certain these 3 items below are hella rockstars.
Vitamin C Micellar Cleansing Water, $12.95 – Given the amount of makeup I wear (when I do wear makeup), I can’t get down with no-rinse gentle cleansing waters as cleansers. I typically uses products like these as toners unless it’s a no-makeup day – and then face washing is such a breeze! This cleansing water is definitely refreshing and helps get rid of makeup reside and gunky buildup. I love that this cleansing water is packed with anti-aging probiotics and antioxidant-rich rooibos (one of my faaaavorite teas – it’s naturally sweet!) to help skin appear brighter and alive.
Vitamin C Concentrated Serum, $24.50 – This concentrated gel serum aims to help brighten skin, boost collagen health, and improve the appearance of uneven skin tone. It contains moisturizing hyaluronic acid, non-oxidizing vitamin C, aloe, and vitamin E – pretty much everything you need to have a beautiful, even skin tone. It’s totally chill if you have sensitive skin, too.
Vitamin C Renewing Moisturizer, $22.50 – This is advertised as a lightweight moisturizer but I find it to be a bit on the thicker side, which I actually prefer. As with the cleansing water and serum, it’s intended to help moisturize, support collagen health, and improve the appearance of uneven skin tone, fine lines and wrinkles. It also contains probiotics and rooibos like the cleansing water, and seriously, all three products work harmoniously together. I’m genuinely smitten with my current skincare routine!
I definitely highly recommend derma e’s Vitamin C line which is available online and at health food stores like Whole Foods.
Derma e was not only so kind to let me samples these goodies out, but they’ve generously allowed me to host a giveaway so one of my readers can win all three of these products for free. Be sure to enter below! Best of luck, cuties! xoxo
